Discipleship, in the lives of believers in Christ, is not optional. Christ called His followers to be obedient and to seek to be more like Him. At Cornerstone, we believe that being Christ's disciple is costly. Jesus said in Matthew 16:24 that if anyone would come after Him, "let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."

Life is challenging; the Church provides encouragement and accountability for believers as they mature in Christ.

What We Do:

Our primary avenue for encouraging discipleship is through small group meetings (Nurture Groups) and Bible Studies. These groups provide opportunity for study of Scripture, fellowship, and upholding one another in prayer through thanksgiving and supplication to God.

Our Hope:

By following Christ's example in His relationship with His Father, we are drawn closer to God and closer to each other. This nurturing equips us to share effectively the gospel with the world, both being and making disciples.

BIBLE STUDY & FELLOWSHIP

*Nurture Group I meets on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year, in different homes, at 7:00 p.m. Dessert is served.

*Nurture Group II meets on Thursday evenings throughout the school year, at the church, at 7:00 p.m.

*Nurture Group III to be announced.

*Ladies' Bible Study meets at 9:30 on Tuesday mornings during the school year, usually for a study of a book of the Bible. Occasionally a topical study is used.

*Back Yard Fellowships replace Nurture Groups during the summer months. They take place bi-weekly, in different homes, at 7:00 p.m. The host provides beverages and families attending bring a dessert. Devotional time usually includes participation by the children.
